As you get older, wrinkles will inevitably start to appear, but that doesn’t mean you have to live with them. We can provide you with BOTOX® Cosmetic injections at our Portland vision correction practice so that you may enjoy a youthful look that defies the effects of time. Dr. Stanley Teplick and his dedicated staff at Teplick Custom Vision and Teplick Aesthetics are well-equipped and experienced to perform the BOTOX® procedure, allowing patients to dramatically rejuvenate their skin through a very simple process.
Are You a Good Candidate for BOTOX® Cosmetic?
A majority of people are good candidates for BOTOX® injections; however, there are certain people who might be precluded from undergoing the procedure. If you have an allergic reaction to any kind of botulinum product, such as Myobloc® or Dysport®, BOTOX® Cosmetic is not recommended for you. Additionally, if you have any kind of skin infection on the planned injection site or if you have a urinary tract infection, you will not be cleared for the procedure until those issues are dealt with. It is also important to take into consideration that BOTOX® Cosmetic is most effective on wrinkles that haven’t fully set.
If you would like to find out whether you are a good candidate for BOTOX® Cosmetic, contact our Portland facility for more information.
The BOTOX® Cosmetic Procedure
Once you are cleared for the BOTOX® procedure, your face will be evaluated for your best possible outcome to ensure satisfying results.
No anesthesia is required; however, if you would like anesthetic cream or a cold pack to numb the treatment areas, we would be more than happy to oblige.
